Friday Big Day for Apple with the launch of ‘Snow Leopard’, the OS Software
The launch of the latest operating system from Apple named Snow Leopard has been declared to be on Friday. It will be released all across US across the resellers and retail stores.
Presently, advance orders are being taken at the Man OS Version 10.6 software store online. It was supposed to be launched during the month of September, but it has come out much before people expected as a wonderful gift this summer! At the same time, the launch has been done much earlier than the release of next operating system of Microsoft Corp’s named Windows 7.
The news from Apple tells that the size of Snow Leopard is just the half of the earlier versions and has 7 gigabytes of storage space allotted this time. The RAM capacity is 1 gigabyte and it runs pretty well using Intel processor on Macs. Upgrading can also be done by the users of Mac OS X Leopard or version 10.5 for just $29 and $49 for single users and for family packs respectively.
Apple users depending on Tiger Operating system or version 10.4 can shift to the new OS launched for $169 in case of single users where as $229 for the family pack. The company has also launched a wonderful offer for those who buy qualifying Mac from June 8 to December 26 as they can get the Snow Leopard for just $95. These users can also claim for upgrading the same within 90 days of purchase or by 26th December, whichever comes earlier.
