The longest ever automated metro rail was inaugurated today in Dubai at 9 pm and something smart is that the inauguration was done at 09:09:09 . Being a special day, 09-09-09 the promise made by Sheikh Muhammad was completed with this ceremony. The track has been evaluated to be that of 43 miles or 70 km.

The superb opening was in the midst of recession taking its toll in the nation. The metro rail would certainly serve people freeing them from the immense still traffic which makes the travel worse across the city.

The concept was evolved when the economy was booming and even the eight-lane traffic at Sheikh Zayed Highway was bumper to bumper from morning till evening.
