Nobel Prize for Peace Awarded to Obama Comes out with Mixed Reactions
Obama wins the Nobel Peace Prize 2009 was of course shocking news for the entire nation and it was also chosen out to be the bold choice. The same news came out with a huge roar of mixed emotions all across asking whether it isn’t it too early for this position as it is just nine months he took the post of First African American President?
According to New York Times: “The stunning surprise announcement coming extraordinarily early in Mr.Obama’s presidency – less than nine month after he took office as the first African American president – shocked people from Norway to Washington.”
The White House was simply unaware of this great ceremony being coming on its way. There were no comments from the White House. The Press Secretary was the person who woke up the President with the good news at 6 a.m.
It was declared by the Forbes magazine of US that the selection of 2009 was the “Novel’s Bold Choice”.
