After the passing of daylight and moonlight, finally the helicopter traveled by Andhra CM has been found. It was traced on top of a hill which was thickly forested in the Kurnool District and the exact location has been pointed to be Nallamalla.
A small clue on the Y.S Rajasekhara Reddy’s missing issue was received around 24 hours after the contact of helicopter to the control room was lost. This news was delivered by a defence official this morning.
The official also added on to the finding saying, “"We have located the helicopter. It is on top of a hill at a distance of 40 nautical miles east of Kurnool. We are trying to find out if there are survivors. We are not sure if it has crashed or not. "Two Indian Air Force helicopters are over the location trying to find a place to land. Since it is a jungle it is difficult to land there."
CM was traveling from Hyderabad to Chittoor on an eight seater Bell chopped and he started at 8.35am and was accompanied by a chief security office and his secretary. It was by 9.27 am the contact with the control room was lost from the helicopter and since then the search had been going through. As the hours passed by, this particular search marked out to be the biggest search-operation in the entire nation involving the satellites, remote sensing aircrafts, unmanned aerial vehicles, fighter jets, barefoot deer-hunting tribals who came up with bows and arrows and even troops on ground.
